We have recently began the saddest part of the Jewish calendar. It’s a three week period, between the 17th of Tammuz and the 9th of Av, and historically this time period has held the most terrible tragedies for the Jewish nation.
What were those tragedies? What’s the history behind these ominous days? What’s the message for us nowadays? What are the practical laws (halachahs) that apply during this time?
